If you’re a fan of all things educational and you enjoy blogging, you might be interested in hosting your blog on ClassHelper.org. We’re part of an established network of educational resources sites designed to deliver quality materials and teaching ideas to teachers and parents.
You can host your blog with us, completely free of charge, if you agree to the following terms.
1. You must have an interest in the education community. Teachers and parents are always welcome in our community. If you like to write about teaching, parenting, or anything related to learning we’d love to help you get started on the road to sharing your views with the world.
2. You must be a polite, mature, reasonably well-spoken individual. We don’t allow anything resembling “adult content” on our sites; this means nothing that might disparage our reputation among teaching professionals and parents.
3. You must agree that we have the final say. You must be willing to accept our judgement as binding if we ever deem something you’ve published to be in questionable ethical standing.
4. You must be okay with giving us a little exposure. We ask that all bloggers in our network maintain a couple of links to ClassHelper.org and this blog page. In return, your blog will benefit from a listing in our community bloggers directory.
5. You must agree to share. If you elect to host advertisements on your blog, you must agree to do so in accordance with benefit #4 below.
Here’s the benefits.
As long as you’re okay with these terms, feel free to email Phil to express your interest in hosting your WordPress blog with us. Here’s what you’ll get:
1. Free, unlimited blog space and bandwidth. You’ll never be charged for anything, period. We don’t want or need any billing information from you.
2. A shiny new WordPress blog. You new blog will be installed on the subdomain of your choice (i.e. “yourblog.classhelper.org”). We’ll install the software and keep it up to date for you.
3. The WordPress theme of your choice installed for you. Even if you’ve never used WordPress before, we’ll be more than happy to help you learn your way around this fantastic publishing system.
4. Get paid for your efforts. If you choose to allow AdSense advertisements on your blog (which is completely up to you), you can elect to receive 70% of the monthly earnings your blog generates. We track individual blogs through AdSense channels, and will send your payments via PayPal 30 days after each month’s earnings are finalized. Get paid to blog, without the hassle of maintaining your own site. As a member of our community, you’ll be in good company.
